2011 September 12: I finish writing the first draft of my fifth book, Albatross.
2011 July 01: Crits for Water closes with $6,808 raised, enough to provide 340 people in a developing nation with safe, sustainable water. YESSSS WE ARE FULL OF SPECTACULAR-NESS. And now I’m super ready to get back to writing. It’s nearly summer vacation. Lots of time to write, yessah!
2011 June 02: With Christine’s donation, Crits for Water hits the goal line: $5000! That’s enough to provide an entire village with clean, sustainable water. Having reached my goal, I promptly raised it. We can hit $6000 easy. Right friends?
2011 May 22: In one week, the Crits for Water campaign jumps from just under $2500 to over $4000. Rock. Tastic.
2011 April 20: katbrauer.com opens! ::waves:: Hey. How’s it shaking?
2011 April 9: In what is already a month of super-duper win, I sign with Agent of Awesome Sara Megibow of Nelson Literary Agency.
2011 March 31: It’s mah birthday! I’m 24. Also, my Crits for Water fundraiser begins–in which me, other authors, some agents, and editors offer up crits in exchange for your donations to charity: water. It will run until June 30.
